Ever met an occasional bowler hoping to treat real bowling with improved precision and consistency. Should that be your situation, this is critical time in growing as a real bowling competitor. Our guide to bowling may take your game to new levels. An expert in a nearby bowling pro shop want bowlers to uncover bowling skills. A wise bowling wizard once said: roll strikes if can spare ‘em (hehe). Just kidding. Fine, so it’s more complicated than that. It’s all good, with a little guidance we’ll get you throwing the bowling ball correctly.
No use putting it off, buy your own custom fit equipment at your bowling pro shop! Rentals and house balls suck. I promise, get your own ball drilled, and you can make more of your practice time. A correctly selected bowling ball can make a substantial improvement in your game. Of course another critical matter is benefiting from well-made bowling shoes that are in good condition.
After you already acquired good bowling equipment, listen to the second best piece of bowling advice: how to aim. If you stand, try not to focus on the back of the lane. Aim for the the points about 15 feet down the lane, like a sight on a firearm. Ever noticed them? It’s less difficult to hit a mark that rests closer. To take full advantage, include it as part of your routine to begin your approach at the precise location 4 steps from the foul line with every roll. If you do it the same every time you can perfect your accuracy and angle.
As for hooks, to achieve ball handling and velocity? That’s our next best piece of bowling advice. They get traction with the specialized bowling ball. Most us who were bown to bowl pack at least two bowling balls to get heavy pin action, selected precisely for the lane. However begginers should keep it simple, and don’t get a ball that weighs a ton. Some pro bowlers use bowling balls with synthetic expert grip. Avoid the temptation, because these special-made balls often make even some well known talents appear silly. And that does it for our first three bowling tips. A pro from our bowling shop will return shortly.
