Wrap Up Well with Fashion for Autumn This Year

The London weather has cooled, the days are seeming shorter and an additional schedule of international fashion house shows has captured the world’s style and fashion cities, from fabulous New York to cutting edge London. Yip, November is surely here, and like always, we have our designer fingers on the proverbial pulse of fashion’s beating diamond encrusted heart. With our choice of UK and global designers ranging from the incredible iconic fashion houses (Lanvin, Balenciaga) to the trendiest names (Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney) to the trend setting ones to keep an eye on (Christopher Kane, Erdem), it is no big surprise London’s elite usually tell admirers that they don’t shop designer clothes anywhere other than Matches!

This Winter season designer fashion is boldly beautiful, and we are in love with some of autumn’s breathtaking statement-making trends. Christopher Kane’s fiercely cool animal printed tees have been bought up by the catwalk fashion pack, gracing front rows and the hottest fashion pages of websites alike. The animal patterned tees are the best partner to another key fashion trend at the moment – leggings – yes, this is the season to flash those toned limbs, and Freda, Sykes and of course Les Chiffoniers have all produced some mega-sleek, lovely pairs. For the trend setter in you, there are thigh-high boots – these thigh huggers are the must have look of the Autumn season; Stella McCartney’s version are black leather, gorgeous, and utterly show-stopping. These bold boots look set to stay around, and we could not be happier; they are a marvellous way to give even the simplest outfit an instant dose of on-trend glamour.

Now, this is absolutely the Winter season to put your shoulders forward! Bulky, padded shoulders are making a huge comeback – beautifully wearable, this is a really flattering trend this time around, and we are in love with Julien McDonald’s strikingly dapper sharp-shouldered dresses. Buy the hottest 3.1 Phillip Lim designer clothing.

We say bring on the cold mornings and wet afternoons…the UK weather may get chilly but with such tremendous dresses to wear this season, we will make sure you look hotter than in July.
